Where can I find Twirl & Swirl?

Our trailer Scoops is based at Ryton Pools Country Park, Ryton Road, Bubbenhall, Coventry, CV8 3BH, next to the Foothills Play Area. Follow the signs from the main car park towards the play area and you'll spot our pink trailer.

Do I have to pay to park at Ryton Pools?

Ryton Pools Country Park is run by Warwickshire County Council and charges for parking. Current charges and park opening times are on our Ryton Pools guide, and on the council's own visitor pages.

Are the mobile units at Ryton Pools too?

Accepted Answer

No — Scoops stays at Ryton Pools. Sprinkles (our events trailer) and Flakes (our ice cream van) travel to bookings and events, and their upcoming locations are listed on our Find Us page.

We may close early or not trade at all in poor weather. Checking our Find Us page or TikTok on the day is the quickest way to know.

Yes — we accept card and contactless payments as well as cash.

Freshly made soft-serve ice cream, 99 cones, waffle cones, sundaes, ice lollies, cold drinks and our signature Twirl Tray. See our menu for the current line-up.

Do you serve warm desserts?

Yes, for suitable van and event bookings. Our warm dessert trays include chocolate fudge cake, old-school cake, chocolate brownie bites, sticky toffee pudding, waffles and white, milk or double-chocolate cookie dough, served warm with ice cream. They aren't sold at Ryton Pools — Scoops serves ice cream and cold drinks only — and availability varies, so please ask when you enquire.

Do you have vegan options?

Yes — our vegan options include vegan hard-scoop ice cream and vegan Magnums. Availability can vary between our units and across the season, so please ask when you order.

Do you do dog-friendly treats?

Yes, we offer dog-friendly treats when available — plenty of our customers arrive with a dog after a walk round the lakes.

Where can I get allergen information?

Our products may contain milk, eggs, wheat, soya and nuts. Please ask a member of our team for full allergen information before ordering, and tell us about any allergies in advance for event bookings.

Yes. Sprinkles and Flakes cover weddings, birthdays, school events, corporate days, festivals and community events. Send us your date, location and rough guest numbers through the event hire page.

It depends on the date, location, duration and how you'd like guests served, so we quote each event individually rather than publishing a fixed price list.

As early as you can for summer weekends — weddings and school events tend to fill those dates first.

Which areas do you travel to?

Coventry, Warwickshire, Rugby, Nuneaton, Leamington Spa, Kenilworth, Ryton-on-Dunsmore and the surrounding Midlands. If you're just outside that, ask and we'll let you know.

A level pitch with clear access in, and safe room for a queue alongside. Tell us about gate widths, ground surface and any slopes or height limits when you enquire.
